My Back Acne Kit is designed with the right ingredients to clear body acne and prevent acne scars.

Body acne, including back acne, neck acne and chest acne is different than acne on the face. This kind of acne often won't respond to regular acne treatment.

Body acne often is caused or aggravated by a different germ than facial acne. This germ, called pityrosporum is actually a yeast, not a bacteria, and regular acne medicines don't kill it. My back acne kit includes pyrithione zinc to kill pityrosporum yeast. The kit also includes a strong benzoyl peroxide cleanser to unclog blocked pores and blackheads that are part of back acne. The medicated cleansers are applied with the Salux Cloth which scrubs and exfoliates the skin and helps get these foaming cleansers and acne medicines down deep into the pores.

Medicated Cleanser #1: (foaming 10% benzoyl peroxide cleanser) The medicated strength of 10% benzoyl peroxide in a foaming cleanser is an excellent blackhead remover. It works together with the Pyrithione Zinc in Medicated Cleanser #2, to clear up body acne on the chest, back and neck. Please note, benzoyl peroxide will fade fabric. Rinse treated skin well before allowing it to come into contact with colored fabric. Also, benzoyl peroxide can irritate skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use and consult a physician.

Medicated Cleanser #2: (2% Pyrithione Zinc foaming cleanser) 2% Pyrithione Zinc is my 'secret ingredient', forgotten in other acne treatment products. It combats the skin yeast germ called pityrosporum, which causes chest acne, neck acne and back acne in most people. The foaming base lifts oil to help the Pyrithione Zinc acne medicine reach deep down in the pores where the germ lives.

Salux Wash Cloth: A long, easy to use cloth that will exfoliate and loosen blockages in the pores while it applies the medicated cleansers onto the areas of your skin where you have body acne.

Kit Instructions: Back Acne & Body Acne Treatment

Wash the parts of your skin where you have back acne chest acne or neck acne every day in the bath or shower. Alternate the two cleansers, using Medicated Cleanser #1 one day and Medicated Cleanser #2 the next day.

• Squeeze a generous amount of either cleanser on to the Salux Wash Cloth and then scrub the affected area.
• Allow the cleanser to sit on the skin for a few minutes then rinse well.

Body acne worsens when the skin is sweaty and oily for long periods of time, such as with sports or other physical activities. It's important to wash your acne prone skin using the medicated cleansers as soon as possible following these activities.

Acne on the body is different than acne on the face. Natural skin yeast germs often play a big role in causing this type of acne. Body acne usually involves the chest, the neck and the thick skin on the back. When the pimples heal they tend to cause acne scars and skin discoloration.

Because these areas of skin are thicker than facial skin, they don't respond to the many acne medicines that are designed for facial use. I've found that the best treatment for body acne involves scrubbing the affected skin with an exfoliating cloth or sponge and medicated soaps that contain strong benzoyl peroxide and pyrithione zinc. Please note, benzoyl peroxide can fade the color in fabric upon contact. When using these products, rinse treated skin thoroughly to reduce the risk of fading or bleaching fabric upon skin contact.
